Who We Are

A Centre of Islamic Learning & Community Support

Hazrat Al Fazal Trust was established to serve the Muslim community of Kotli, Azad Kashmir. What began as a small mosque has grown into a comprehensive Islamic centre — home to a fully residential Jamia, orphan welfare programme, water aid projects and community support services.

The Jamia currently houses over 50 full-time students pursuing the memorisation of the Holy Quran (Hifz) and advanced Islamic scholarship (Alim course). Every student is provided with accommodation, food, clothing, and education — all funded entirely by charitable donations.

We rely entirely on the generosity of donors in the UK and around the world. Your support keeps this institution running and allows us to expand our services year on year.

What We Do

Our Programmes

We run several programmes to serve the community of Kotli, Azad Kashmir.

The Mosque

Our mosque serves hundreds of worshippers every week. We provide a space for daily prayers, Jumu'ah, Eid, and community gatherings. The mosque is the spiritual heart of our community.

Jamia & Madrassa

Our residential Jamia houses over 50 students studying Hifz and Alim courses. The programme spans 7–12 years and produces qualified Islamic scholars who serve communities worldwide.

Orphan Welfare

We provide care, education and support for orphaned children in Kotli. Your donations help cover food, clothing, schooling and healthcare for these vulnerable children throughout the year.

Food Aid

Every year we distribute hundreds of food parcels to struggling families, particularly during Ramadan and winter. We also provide hot meals and community iftaar events throughout the year.

Clean Water Wells

We build hand-pump water wells in remote villages of Azad Kashmir. For just £800, a well can serve an entire community for 25+ years. Name a well in memory of a loved one as a sadaqah jariyah.

Building Fund

We are currently expanding the Jamia to accommodate more students. The new extension will provide accommodation for an additional 20 students and include a new library and classrooms.

Water Aid Programme

Bringing Clean Water to Kotli

Access to clean water is something many of us take for granted. In parts of Kotli and surrounding villages, families walk miles every day to collect water from unsafe sources.

Our Water Aid programme builds hand-pump wells directly in these communities. Each well lasts 25+ years and requires minimal maintenance — one of the most impactful forms of sadaqah jariyah you can give.
